How will FMS/FMSLite interact with the API for offseason events this year? Will/can data be automatically posted, just 
like official events?

No, off-season events will not be able to publish their data against the official in-season database automatically. 

However, we're planning on conducting some testing with select off-season events (by invitation) of changes for the 2016
 season- and those selected off-season events will be able to see their results in the API and on the web, just like a 
traditional FRC Event.

When the time comes, can you give us a heads up which events are going to have live data so we can turn TBA on for them?

Hi Phil,

Yes, that's our plan. Once we map out our development schedule in detail we'll select a few offseason events which line 
up appropriately and post the list here on the forum.

I know this is a very old thread, and I see that some offseason events appear in the prior season's data. Is there any 
plan to include CURRENT or future offseason events? I'd like to be able to use GATOOL with live data from the API, 
rather than requiring manual schedule and score entry.

Yes, we intend to include off-season events (at least in some capacity) in the official listings. More information will 
hopefully be published soon. We don't really publish "after the fact" to the official database, so any off-season events
 we do will be "live" events.
