FRCAPI 2016 Season Information on API

I noticed that 2016 season information is not available in the API. 

For example, fetching a list of the districts:

Request to: https://frc-api.usfirst.org/v2.0/2016/districts
Response: 400-Season must be between 2015 and the current year

What's the plan for making the 2016 information available?

Hi Sunny,
Per the error message, the 2016 data will be available once the new season has started (Jan 9th). Some information may 
be populated prior to that time though, depending on availability, as well as some data being populated on the staging 
server before Kickoff.

That's a little disappointing to hear. 

While I understanding that some information about the 2016 season isn't available (scoring, rankings, etc.), is there a 
particular reason that the other information (events, districts, etc.) aren't available yet? 

My use case is for fantasy first, which sees most of its action before the season begins...

Hi Sunny,
If we finish the updates and maintenance we have scheduled on the API prior to Kickoff (both staging and production), 
data would begin to populate. We just aren't guaranteeing anything prior to the official start of the season in January.

Some people have contacted us directly, but just for all of those who are curious, we do anticipate data beginning to 
populate within one week. Of course, data may be incomplete or inaccurate as registration and event information changes 
over the coming weeks.
